Emily, I live in Austin and I saw on the Martha Stewart show Amigurumi. Do you know where I can learn this craft. I am a beginner knitter and have never crocheted at all. Obviously, I am needing a beginner class. Hope you can help.

Hill Country Weavers often offers classes to teach knitting and crocheting. It looks like they will have a Crochet 101 class on April 1st, 8th, and 15th from 12pm to 2pm, and a Crochet Express class on April 9th. Check out their website and call the store to sign up for a class. That would be the best way to learn!

Well, I just checked with Ryan (one of the guys behind the DuPage Collective) and he said there are some copies of the 10″ without any art sitting in a box somewhere. He’s going to look into sending me something to post here.

Dear Emily.
I’m just now working on your “A Noble Cowl” and a friend of mine would like to knit it but doesn’t read English patterns, so I’m thinking about translating it into Swedish. Is that okay with you? And if so, would you mind if I put it up on my website for free for other Swedes to use? Naturally, everything about the cowl will remain in your name and in your copyright. I would just trnaslate it straight off and make it available to those who don’t read English patterns, and you could put it up on ravelry as well, if you want.
Get in touch when you have time?
Carola, Sweden.
