I bet someone in the guild could help fix up your wheel, or give you suggestions on where to take it or how to do the work yourself. I found you through the discussion about a Thursday knit night. I already RSVPed yes, I hope to see you there. I think I basically want to be you when I grow up. I am very impressed by your spinning. My mother in law gave me her old Ashford traditional. Not only does it needs some work, I don't really know what that works needs to be. I think I may have to replace the flyer as the orifice is rusted and I don't think I can clean it up without maybe damaging the wood. I'd love to meet spinners!
